Looking Back While Moving Ahead
Gathering extraordinary images and stories that inspire and captivate.

The Lowcountry is a magical place—rooted in love, history, and memory. It’s a land where tides carry stories, where centuries of footsteps linger in the pluff mud, and where every curve of the river holds a whisper of what came before. Together, Andrew and I spent years capturing those moments.
We wandered the backroads and salt creeks, listening to the voices of chefs and shrimpers, crabbers and clammers, seed savers, net makers, and artists. We took a deep dive into the ACE Basin, exploring plantations that traced their beginnings to centuries past. We told the story of the great grain revival and shone a light on the workers—largely invisible to passersby—whose hands keep this region alive.
We worked with celebrated artists who honor our region with their works.
The Lowcountry became our open-air studio, our library of memory, our shared heartbeat. It remains one of the last unspoiled places along the Eastern Seaboard, and it has shaped everything we’ve created together.
We stood on the docks at sunset.
We talked with oystermen heading out on the tide.
We listened to old stories told in kitchens fragrant with shrimp stock and onions.
We followed the river roads and the dirt paths and the hidden lanes that led straight into the heart of this place.
Working with Andrew has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. His creativity, his spirit, his eye for beauty, and his deep respect for the people of this region have shaped our work in lasting ways.
